The fastest way to reach us

hello@thecurrentagereport.com

A real person reads every message — usually answered the same day, and always within two business days. There is no chatbot here, and there isn't going to be one. Chapter 10 of the handbook is about companies that hide behind them.

What to include

If your message is about an order, tell us the email address you used at checkout and roughly when you bought. That's all we need to find it. You don't need an order number.

Common reasons people write

If…Then…
Your download didn't arrive Check your spam folder first — that's where it is about a third of the time. If it isn't there, email us and we'll send it straight away.
You want a refund Reply to your receipt or email us within 14 days and say so. No reason needed, none will be asked for, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
You can't open the PDF Tell us what device you're using. We'll walk you through it, and if it still won't work we'll refund you.
Something in the book has changed Please tell us. Phone numbers and web addresses go stale faster than anything else, and readers spot it before we do. Corrections go on this site and into the next edition.
You've found a mistake We want to know, genuinely. Send the page number. We'll correct it and credit you if you'd like.
You want to buy copies for a group Libraries, senior centres, and community organisations — write to us. We'll sort something out.
You're press, or want to talk about the channel Same address. Put "Press" in the subject line.
One thing we can't help with

We can't give you advice about your own money, health, legal situation, or a specific scam you're caught up in. We're not qualified to, and it would be wrong of us to try.

If fraud is happening to you right now, don't wait for us to reply. Call your bank on the number printed on the back of your card, and then call one of these — both free, both staffed by people trained for exactly this:

  • National Elder Fraud Hotline (U.S. Department of Justice) — 833-372-8311, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Eastern.
  • AARP Fraud Watch Network Helpline — 877-908-3360, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Eastern. No membership required.

A note on how we'll never contact you

We will never telephone you unexpectedly. We will never ask you for a password, a verification code, or your card number. We will never ask you to move money anywhere, and we will never send someone to your door.

If someone contacts you claiming to be from The Current Age and does any of those things, it isn't us. Hang up, and if you'd like to check, email the address at the top of this page.
